Black Bear Winery is a farm winery producing fruit wines and hard cider.  This winery is truly a home spun operation.  Not only do they produce their own wines, but they even built their own production facility complete with a comfortable and unique tasting room.

Black Bear Winery began operations in 1995 with the cutting of timber on their 100 acre farm to produce lumber for the building. Doing all the work themselves, construction is now complete, and the winery has been in full operation since October 2002.


Black Bear is quickly becoming an attractive destination for wine enthusiasts. They have been wine makers for the last ten years and come up with some top notch recipes. In the year 2002 they produced 2000 gallons, made five different flavors, and earned their first medal in an international competition.
